Authentic nature house located on the river Alva in beautiful nature with a deep swimming pool with diving board and lots of privacy. After a typical Portuguese dirt road you arrive at the beautifully situated quinta. The view during the day is breathtaking and the starry sky at night magnificent. You can hear the soft murmur of the river Alva with the waterfall. The house itself offers all the necessary comfort with an equipped kitchen, one bathroom with bath, one bathroom with shower, a cool sitting area, a beautiful open dining area in the bay window, an authentic hallway and four bedrooms (downstairs with air conditioning). You can relax in the garden and on the terrace, but the river and the swimming pool are even better.
Nature and surroundings
For people who love nature and a lot of privacy, the nature house is a fantastic place, for children (not the smallest given the water and the stairs) it is an adventurous place where they can fully discover. The water comes from a source in our own garden. The landlords provide the house with a well-functioning mobile WiFi, a TV with DVDs and a Google Chromecast. No one will disturb you during your holiday and yet it is not isolated. You can also rely on the ever-helpful Carla, who takes care of the house and guests and lives in the nearby village. There are varied excursion options in the area, so that you can also explore the region well. The restaurants and bars here are numerous, delicious and certainly affordable. In the river you can swim in the middle of nature, while you are mainly surrounded by birds. The pool is big enough to really swim and on one side so deep that you can dive from the diving board.

Peter July 23, 2022 General rating:Het huisje en de inboedel is wat verouderd en er is helaas geen wasmachine.
Er is wel een heel lieve, behulpzame vrouw die voor het huis zorgt en alles probeert te regelen.Nature, peace & environment:Heerlijke natuur! Direct aan de rivier waarin je heerlijk kunt spelen en afkoelen. In de bergen met leuke wandelpaden. Overdag de Portugese zomerwarmte maar 's nachts lekker koel door de beschutting van de bergen.

Sander July 17, 2021 General rating:Prachtig verstopte plek met veel privacy. Weg er naar toe is slecht en huis is aan opfrisbeurt toe. Tuin zou ook wat meer aandacht mogen krijgen. Maar plek is een paradijsje voor kidz (>8jr) en volwassen. Goede auto nodig voor weg. Plaatsjes in de buurt pitoresque maar beperkt. Heel veel natuur!
Nature, peace & environment:Zeer rustig gelegen heerlijke plek aan min of meer je eigen rivier.
