Nature house in Vinkeveen

This unique nature house is a small house located on an island in the Vinkeveense Plassen, very close to Amsterdam and Utrecht. It’s ideal if you really want to unwind or if you want to explore the city during the day and then return to the tranquility of the water. The Tiny house is spacious and comfortably furnished, equipped with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay, including a double sofa bed and a bunk bed. It features a spacious kitchen with a 4-burner stovetop, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and cooking utensils. A barbecue is also available. The bathroom includes a toilet, a small sink, and a shower. There’s Wi-Fi, 220V power, and a cozy wood stove—perfect for the colder months. The island is accessible only by boat. For €30 per day, you can rent a small motorboat to easily sail to the island and explore the Vinkeveense Plassen. Since the Tiny house is accessible only by boat, we recommend that you do your grocery shopping before you arrive. There is a supermarket a 5-minute drive from the dock/reception area. Free parking for one car is available at this dock/reception area. The natural surroundings on and around the Vinkeveense Plassen not only provide a beautiful backdrop for a day out, but the marshes are also home to a variety of flora and fauna. There is even a spoonbill colony in De Botshol. Outside the breeding season, this area is accessible only by canoe or rowboat. The Vinkeveense Plassen offer something for everyone in terms of recreation and nature. The lakes are characterized by the spoonbills and the ring of 12 sand islands. There are unique opportunities for water recreation here. You can explore the area by sailboat or motorboat, but it’s also ideal for canoeing or taking an electric boat. A number of routes have been mapped out specifically for canoes and electric boats.
