The largest town Poggio Mirteto with a variety of stores and with the lively Friday market is also a 10-minute drive away. And all within 45 minutes by car or train from the center of Rome!

In this nature house you will not be bored for a moment. Besides the beautiful hiking and biking trails over hills and through olive groves, there is the possibility of horseback riding and tennis. There are some nine golf courses in the immediate vicinity of Rome. Yoga, massages, cooking classes, markets: there really is something for everyone. In this beautiful region you will not see any industry or traffic lights. Just hills, sheep, vineyards and olive trees. Don't be alarmed if suddenly a flock of sheep runs across the small country roads, just wait a moment and you can continue on your way. Although the olive presses work only from October to January, there are guided tours accompanied by an experienced guide throughout the year. For beach lovers, the landlords recommend the beaches of Fregene and Tarquinia, which are within an hour's drive of the borgo. In Tarquinia, the tour of the Etruscan tombs is highly recommended. For winter sports lovers (cross-country skiing and skiing) there are Monte Terminillo near Rieti (one hour) and Campo Felice in Abruzzo (an hour and a half).
