The nature house is wonderfully free and quiet on a dirt road (only local traffic) at the foot of the Herikerberg. The oldest part of the house dates from about 1900. Next to the house there are several hiking trails over the Herikerberg and through the beautiful woods of the estate Het Weldam. In the private garden of almost 2,000 m² there are always a few nice, sunny spots to be found. We had a very nice stay. We were kindly received and everything was provided for. There was also extensive information about the house. The cottage is very suitable for a family (or group of 5-6 people). I would recommend a stay especially if the weather is nice so you can enjoy the large garden. Het huisje is zeer geschikt voor een gezin (of groep van 5-6 personen). Ik zou een verblijf vooral aanbevelen als het mooi weer is zodat je kunt genieten van de grote tuin. Ook omdat bovenverdieping niet heel goed geïsoleerd is (en geen verwarming heeft), waardoor de kamers snel kunnen afkoelen. Er zijn wel extra dekens aanwezig. Ik zou dit huisje zeker aan anderen aanbevelen!
