The stone bungalow is located in the middle of the protected dune area of Midsland aan Zee, with an unobstructed view towards West aan Zee. The nature house is best suited for 4 adults and 2 children is equipped with modern facilities such as dishwasher, , Digital TV and Nespresso machine. Special for the cooking enthusiast, a SMEG six-burner gas stove with two gas ovens. The bungalow stands atop a dune, in the immediate vicinity overgrown with beach grass, sea buckthorn, rose hip and many other flowers and plants. At the rear (facing east) are trees/shrubs. The living room has an adjacent south-facing terrace. The sheltered sun terrace can be accessed directly from the living room. The dining room has a beautiful view over a dune lake and the bird nesting area. The North Sea beach is about 300 meters away.
Nature and surroundings
The dune area on Terschelling, Midsland aan Zee, West aan Zee, is a UNESCO protected nature reserve. The area is managed by Staatsbosbeheer, on but is easily accessible everywhere through an extensive network of bicycle paths and footpaths. Extremely suitable for cycling and walking. The dune area is adjacent to the North Sea coast, with enormously wide, beautiful beaches. At the dune crossing (about 300 meters) is immediately a modern beach club, but a five-minute walk along the tide line and the beach becomes almost private and very quiet, even in high season. In the dune area are dune lakes with mature breeding areas and here and there areas cordoned off by the Forestry Commission for primeval cattle and wild horses. On the west and east sides, the dune area borders woodland.
