Nature house in Wateren (Westerveld)

I had an incredibly nice stay in this bungalow and rated the stay with a 9. On short notice everything was made possible to get the bungalow ready for my arrival, which I greatly appreciated. I really needed this stay for a while and this place offered exactly the peace and quiet I was looking for. The wood stove provides a warm, cozy base, which automatically makes you slow down and be more in the moment. What really added to the feeling of relaxation for me is the limited phone range. This makes you grab your phone less often, there is less screen time and creates space for real peace. This worked through in the evening and night: I slept deeper and woke up more rested. The silence, the nature surrounding the bungalow and the lack of digital stimuli make this an ideal place to really get away from the daily hustle and bustle. However, a slight dog smell is occasionally noticeable, but this did not detract from the enjoyment of the stay.

Ik heb een ontzettend fijn verblijf gehad in deze bungalow en heb het verblijf met een 9 beoordeeld. Op korte termijn werd alles mogelijk gemaakt om de bungalow voor mijn komst gereed te maken, wat ik enorm waardeerde. Ik had dit verblijf echt even nodig en deze plek bood precies de rust waar ik naar op zoek was. De houtkachel zorgt voor een warme, sfeervolle basis, waardoor je vanzelf vertraagt en meer in het moment bent.

Wat voor mij echt bijdroeg aan het gevoel van ontspanning, is het beperkte telefoonbereik. Hierdoor pak je je telefoon minder vaak, is er minder schermtijd en ontstaat er ruimte voor echte rust. Dit werkte door in de avond en nacht: ik sliep dieper en werd uitgeruster wakker. De stilte, de natuur rondom de bungalow en het ontbreken van digitale prikkels maken dit een ideale plek om echt even los te komen van de dagelijkse drukte. Wel is af en toe een lichte hondengeur merkbaar, maar dit deed geen afbreuk aan het plezier van het verblijf.

What a wonderful place to stay in this bungalow. Even in winter it is enjoyable here: with the wood stove on it is warm and cozy, nice on the couch while overlooking the forest in the backyard. You regularly see birds pass by, which completes the real nature house feeling. The fact that the interior is a bit older does not detract from this. In fact, everything is surprisingly complete. The kitchen is well equipped with a full cutlery drawer, plenty of plates and cups, and appliances such as a dishwasher, washing machine, oven and microwave. The rest of the house also lacks nothing: a closet with games, books to read and even gas fillers for the gas lighters are provided. Just this attention to detail makes the stay extra comfortable. A nice, quiet place where you can completely relax.

Wat is het heerlijk verblijven in deze bungalow. Ook in de winter is het hier genieten: met de houtkachel aan wordt het warm en knus, fijn op de bank terwijl je uitkijkt op het bos in de achtertuin. Regelmatig zie je vogels voorbij komen, wat het echte Natuurhuisje-gevoel compleet maakt.

Dat de inrichting wat ouder is, doet hier geen afbreuk aan. Alles is namelijk verrassend compleet. De keuken is goed uitgerust met een gevulde besteklade, voldoende borden en kopjes, en apparatuur zoals een vaatwasser, wasmachine, oven en magnetron. Ook in de rest van het huis ontbreekt het aan niets: een kast met spelletjes, boeken om te lezen en zelfs gasvullers voor de gas aanstekers zijn aanwezig. Juist die aandacht voor detail maakt het verblijf extra comfortabel. Een fijne, rustige plek waar je helemaal tot ontspanning komt.
