You’ll find the eco-rafts in a unique location on the Steenbergsche Vliet, right in the heart of the great outdoors. The peace, space, and nature will help you relax naturally. An eco-raft is an insulated log cabin on a raft measuring four by six meters. You access the raft from the shore via a walkway. In front of the log cabin is a terrace offering a sweeping view of the Vliet and the surrounding countryside. The eco-raft is equipped with cutlery, dishes, pots and pans, and a two-burner gas stove. So you can cook on the eco-raft and enjoy your meal while taking in the view. You can take the small rowboat that comes with the eco-raft out onto the water, and if you’d like to go for a swim, you can get in and out of the water using the swim ladder on the terrace. Up to four people can stay overnight in the ecovlot on the two bunk beds (please bring your own comforter; we provide the covers). Upon arrival, you’ll receive a dynamo lamp, a water tank, and a cart to transport your belongings to the ecovlot.

The website said bedding was provided, so we assumed that included a comforter. That could have been made a little clearer. It also said we’d get a flashlight, but there wasn’t one. If we’d known that, we would have brought a flashlight with us. Other than that, it was great!
Er stond op de site dat er beddegoed was, wij dachten dat er dan ook eem dekbed was. Dat zou ik wat duidelijker mogen. Ook stond er dat we een knijpkat zouden krijgen en die was er niet. Als we dat hadden geweten dan hadden we een zaklamp meegenomen. Voor de rest was het super!
