This nature house is an authentic house, completely restored in the old style, but with a contemporary, modern look. Underneath the house is the granite wine trough and a wine press. The cottage has a spacious roof terrace with a comfortable lounge sofa and chairs. From here you have spectacular views of the Tamega Valley and Monte Farinha, which at 966 meters has the highest peak in the region. In your "own" garden at the front of the house is a picnic bench to enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning, for example. You enter into the cozy living room with wood-burning stove. You will also find here the fully equipped open kitchen with dining area. To the left and right of the living room are the two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed and the other two single beds (third bed is possible). The bathroom has a walk-in shower, sink and toilet.

Slowing down time, lazing, with a book under an olive tree, feet in the pool. Strolling through characteristic Portuguese towns like Guimarães, Vila Real, Amarante, Braga and -not to be forgotten- Porto. A long walk through one of the nature parks without meeting anyone, at most a shepherd with a herd of goats. Cycling along the Tâmega railroad line or "just" fishing, kayaking or swimming in the river. Visiting the famous Douro region. Lingering for a delicious fresh meal, with honest ingredients and fine Portuguese wines. A cool glass of Vinho Verde from the landlord on the terrace of your nature house in a green oasis, full of butterflies and birds. Pure and unadulterated.
