From your "own" garden you have a wide view over the Tamega valley, the lower terraces and in the distance the village of Atei. In the garden several cork oaks, which means Sobreiro. And of course ancient olive trees. In the spacious garden hook up the hammock. Enjoy the peace, the view and privacy. On the terrace a teak table with six chairs. Through the front door you enter the living room/kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, such as a four-zone induction cooktop, refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine. There is a six-person dining table. In the cozy sitting area a wood-burning stove for those possibly chilly evenings, a lovely sofa.

Slowing down time, lazing, with a book under an olive tree, feet in the pool. Strolling through characteristic Portuguese towns like Guimarães, Vila Real, Amarante, Braga and -not to be forgotten- Porto. A long walk through one of the nature parks without meeting anyone, at most a shepherd with a herd of goats. Cycling along the Tâmega railroad line or fishing, kayaking or swimming in the river. Visiting the famous Douro region. Lingering for a delicious fresh meal, with honest ingredients and fine Portuguese wines. A cool glass of Vinho Verde from the landlord on the terrace of your nature house in a green oasis, full of butterflies and birds. Pure and unadulterated.
