Nature house in Haddebo , Örebro

Authentic house rebuilt in old style by Chis and Frank. The house is divided into two pieces. We had the entire house at our disposal, so plenty of space. The house is nice and cool during the hot days. The garden is great! An oasis of tranquility, something to see everywhere. Enjoyed the cooking skills of Frank. Frank and Chris are very hospitable and take time for guests over a cup of coffee. They exude peace, despite the work that must go on. Living here is living with nature. The wifi is not always optimal, the store is some distance away, but for that, take advantage of what is, but see the benefit of what is not!

Autentiek huis dat door Chis en Frank opnieuw is opgebouwd in oude stijl. Het huis is opgedeeld in twee stukken. We hadden het complete huis tot onze beschikking, dus ruimte genoeg. Het huis is lekker koel tijdens de warme dagen. De tuin is geweldig! Een oase van rust, overal is iets te zien. Genoten van de kookkunsten van Frank. Frank en Chris zijn erg gastvrij en nemen de tijd voor de gasten onder het genot van een kop koffie. Ze stralen, ondanks het werk dat door moet gaan, rust uit. Het is hier leven met de natuur. De wifi is niet altijd optimaal, de winkel is op enige afstand, maar daarvoor geldt: haal voordeel uit wat is, maar zie het nut van wat niet is!

Geweldige natuur, heerlijke rust, van mooie plekjes genoten!

The cottage is an old barn, lovingly converted into a vacation home where the old wooden beams are clearly visible everywhere. It creates an authentic and atmospheric character. Outside the door was lovely in the sun and as a counterpart it was nice and cool inside, We enjoyed the cottage and the environment for two weeks and would so go back. Keep in mind that you may have neighbors in the other half of the cottage: by maintaining the authentic atmosphere it is less soundproofed than you might want. We were certainly not bothered by the neighbors, but you could sometimes hear each other rumbling and talking. The landlords are warm, spontaneous and enthusiastic hosts, we felt very welcome in this vacation. Also enjoyed their cooking a few times. When cooking for ourselves, we could get fresh herbs from the garden.
We also gratefully made use of the opportunity to borrow a canoe which we took out on the water (Östersjön -Hjärtasjön) and the landlord took us to places in the forest that are really worth seeing. We learned a lot about forestry in the region and how it could be solved differently ecologically making more room for biodiversity.

In short: we enjoyed ourselves!

Het huisje is een oude schuur, liefdevol omgebouwd tot een vakantiewoning waar de oude houten balken overal goed zichtbaar zijn. Het zorgt voor een authentiek en sfeervol karakter. Buiten voor de deur was het heerlijk toeven in de zon en als tegenhanger was het binnen heerlijk koel, We hebben twee weken lang genoten van het huisje en de omgeving en zouden zó terug gaan. Houd er wel rekening mee dat je buren kunt hebben in de andere helft van het huisje: door het behouden van de authentieke sfeer is het minder op geluid geïsoleerd dan je misschien zou willen. We hadden zéker geen last van de buren, maar je hoorde elkaar soms wel rommelen en praten.

De verhuurders zijn hartelijke, spontane en bevlogen gastgevers, we hebben ons zeer welkom gevoeld in deze vakantie. Ook een paar keer genoten van hun kookkunsten. Bij het zelf koken konden we verse kruiden uit de tuin halen.
We hebben daarnaast dankbaar gebruik gemaakt van de mogelijkheid om een kano te lenen waar we lekker mee het water (Östersjön -Hjärtasjön) op zijn gegaan en de verhuurder heeft ons meegenomen naar plekken in het bos die werkelijk de moeite waard zijn om te bekijken. We hebben heel wat opgestoken over de bosbouw in de regio en hoe het ecologisch gezien anders zou kunnen worden opgelost waardoor er meer ruimte is voor biodiversiteit.

Kortom: we hebben genoten!

Als je op zoek bent naar rust en ruimte dan ben je hier op de juiste plek. Genoten van de omgeving en de prachtige tuin waar de planten grote hoeveelheden hommels, bijen en vlinders trokken.
