This nature house is located on the second floor of the front house of a traditional farmhouse in Wapse, not far from Diever. It is in a rural location and has its own parking. Through the private entrance you enter the studio by stairs. Here are two single beds with high quality mattresses. Furthermore, there are two luxury armchairs with coffee table and an open kitchen with the necessary benodighdeden for a simple meal. The adjacent luxury bathroom has a sink and a spacious shower cabin. The spacious and sunny private terrace offers views over the beautiful Drenthe countryside followed by a large lawn and a beautiful garden. There is a covered area for storing bicycles, where there is also a charging point for electric bicycles.
Nature and surroundings
The village of Wapse is an esdorp in the Dutch province of Drenthe, municipality of Westerveld, with about 700 inhabitants. The village is located about 21 kilometers northwest of Hoogeveen, between Vledder and Diever, on the edge of the National Park Drents-Friese Wold, which is an excellent vacation location par excellence. After the Hoge Veluwe, the Drents-Friese Wold is the largest continuous forest area in our country. But this national park is more than just forest. In the Drents-Friese Wold you wander from sand drifts to fens, from heather to marshes. Standing in the drifting Aekingerzand you do not even need much imagination to imagine what the vast sandy plains of the Drenthe of old must have looked like. De Eese (also "The Ehze") is also a nearby nature reserve in the extreme northeast corner of the Overijssel municipality of Steenwijkerland with another small part in the Drenthe municipality of Westerveld and another very small part in the Frisian municipality of Weststellingwerf. In addition, the house is not far from a number of dolmens and the Dutch Venice: Giethoorn!
