Lovely "meet" in nature: lying in a hammock, sitting at the oak picnic table, with a glass of wine by the pot-bellied stove on the terrace or bird watching from the veranda of the nature house. With a bit of luck you will encounter a roe deer, a hedgehog or a squirrel. Many titmice, woodpeckers, nuthatches and robins and regularly hear the "chattering" ravens flying overhead. The nature house is located in the middle of a forest from where you can enjoy walking, running or cycling. After a long walk relax by the wood stove or with a hot bath. This Nature House offers all the ingredients for a wonderful, relaxing vacation. In 2007, these landlords were looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city; something in nature with the opportunity to create their own. This is how they ended up in the Langeloërduinen near the beautiful spring village of Norg. In 2010 they replaced the old house with an attractive nature house, equipped with all the comforts of our time, taking into account the environment. Their nature friends association stands for respect for nature. No fences, no villas, but plenty of greenery and the character of an oak forest.
Nature and surroundings
For the whole family, there is ample opportunity for entertainment in the area. From strolling along the struin- and dune path, high through the treetops on the Boomkroonpad to swimming in a pool or lake. Tinker in the Toy Museum in Roden, go to Kabouterland in Exloo or spend a day at Landgoed Nienoord. Get culinary pampering in one of the cozy restaurants in Norg or nearby Roden. Alternate your stay in the woods with a day in Groningen or relax at Sauna Peize. In short, plenty of entertainment for young and old!
