This typical Swedish nature house is located in the heart of the province of Dalarna. It is hidden in the woods and 100 meters down the road you come to a small lake with jetty and own boat. The cottage can only be reached via dirt roads. Relaxing, living close to nature and enjoying space and silence are keywords that characterize your stay here. At the same time, both Falun and Leksand as well as Borlange are located within a half-hour drive. Falun is mainly known for its copper mine Falu Gruva, Borlänge has a large indoor shopping center and Leksand is located on Lake Siljan. Stockholm is about a 2.5-hour drive away. The house is suitable for four people and in the summer, because of the small cabin outside, there is room for two more children. There is running (hot) water, electricity, a bathroom with shower inside and a neat outhouse outside. There is a fireplace, hot air heating in the dining kitchen and oil radiators. Adjacent to the dining kitchen is a cozy, covered conservatory with a corner sofa. Around the house is plenty of space so you can relax outside. Fishing equipment, mountain bikes, games, snowshoes and a barbecue, among other things, are provided.

Dalarna is characterized by vast forests, thousands of lakes, wildlife and is the beginning of higher Sweden. In summer enjoy the long evenings, where it hardly gets dark, and in winter enjoy the cold, lots of snow and fires to light up the long evenings. It is also a pleasure to be here in autumn with beautifully brightly colored trees and in spring when nature awakens again. There are many opportunities for recreation in the immediate area, including hiking, mountain biking, swimming, boating, fishing and much more. Lake Siljan is Dalarna's largest lake. There you will experience typical Swedish culture and nature, and the villages around Lake Siljan are highly recommended. A sturdy, inflatable two-person canoe can be rented. Between Falun and Borlänge is Lake Runn, where you can skate on well-prepared natural ice in winter. There are two ski resorts half an hour to three quarters of an hour away, these are Romme Alpin and Bjursås. Cross-country skiing is possible in the immediate vicinity of the nature house.
