At this nature house, you’ll experience Drenthe at its best. Here on the Hondsrug, near the Drouwenerzand nature reserve and forested areas, it’s a wonderful place to unwind. An ideal base for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Two hunebeds are located almost in the cottage’s backyard. A lovely bike ride through the woods will take you to places like the Boomkroonpad or the Gasselterveld, a beautiful swimming spot in the woods where you can cool off on hot days. At the Hunebedcentrum in Borger, you can learn all about the earliest history of this region. The nearby cities of Emmen and Assen also have a lot to offer, such as Wildlands and the Drents Museum. The only minor issue is that you can't step right out onto the patio from your cottage—you have to walk a little way or go through the bathroom—but it's no big deal... everything was there and nice.
Het enige dingetje is misschien dat je niet vanuit je huisje meteen op het terras staat maar een beetje om moet lopen of door de badkamer moet, maar niets groots dus .. alles was voorhanden en fijn
It was amazing—more than we expected.
het was geweldig, meer dan we verwachtten

Big enough for two people and a dog. Great beds. Everything you need is provided.
Groot genoeg voor twee personen en hond. Prima bedden. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig
It's wonderful to be able to spend time outdoors under the canopy, in a cozy space warmed by the fireplace.
Heerlijk onder de overkapping buiten kunnen leven, een fijne ruimte met warmte van de haard.
