Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the middle of the Hondsrug and is ideally suited for the nature lover who loves peace and quiet. There is an extensive network of cycling, equestrian and hiking trails. A varied nature and picturesque villages make it complete. Stores are a 10-minute drive away in Rolde, Borger and Grolloo. There is plenty to do around the private forest. In the vicinity are beautiful cycling and walking routes. In Assen starts one of the Happen & Trappen bicycle routes. Furthermore, the estate is located halfway along the walking route Rolde-Schoonoord of the Pieterpad. A few kilometers away you will find the Boomkroonpad. In Emmen is the Wildlands zoo, which is about a half hour drive from the nature house.

The photo, as it appears on nature house, does not correspond to reality at all. The cottage is on a small path right overlooking it. There is no spacious forest around it at all. Fortunately, we could exchange the cottage at the campsite for another accommodation and we did so immediately.
De foto, zoals hij op natuurhuisje staat, komt totaal niet overeen met de werkelijkheid. Het huisje staat op een klein paadje recht uitkijkend op het pad. Er zit helemaal geen ruim bos omheen. Gelukkig konden we op de camping het huisje omruilen voor een andere accommodatie en dat hebben we dan ook gelijk gedaan.

Eenvoudig ingericht woonwagen waarbij niet alles goed was afgewerkt. Maar prima bed en functioneel. Toilet buiten( wij hebben de emmer snachts binnen gezet)
