Nature house in Odoornerveen

Very spacious studio (45 m²) in an authentic former farmhouse where the natural atmosphere has been preserved as much as possible. The nature house has its own entrance and all private amenities, suitable for two people. There are no other guests. It offers all modern comforts, including a shower, double sinks, central heating, and Wi-Fi. Where the old box beds once stood, there is now a cozy sleeping area with a double bed: 160x200. Outside, there are several private terraces and a huge, natural, and sheltered garden (3,400 m²). You can find your own spot anywhere, whether in the sun or in the shade. Bicycles can be stored in the “boiler room.” Please note: Pets are allowed, but only under the following conditions: pets are never allowed on the bed or couch (not even if you put a blanket on it!) They may not be left alone in the house unless in a crate; they must not scratch or chew on furniture; and no high-risk dogs such as pit bull-type breeds are allowed. If in doubt, please consult us!

Peace and plenty of space, both indoors and outdoors, in a fantastic natural setting right in the heart of a beautiful hiking and biking area, surrounded by various large forests, heathlands, and ponds.  Several natural ponds offer fantastic swimming: sandy beaches and wonderfully clean water. Shops and amenities are just one kilometer away. The famous hunebed, the “Papeloze Kerk,” is nearby (1.5 km) and sits beautifully and anciently in the forest. The Hunebed Center in Borger (7 km) is very interesting. Also worth visiting is the picturesque, traditional Drenthe village of Orvelte with its village green and centuries-old Saxon farmhouses. The Drents Museum in Assen features beautiful and rotating exhibitions. And in Zweeloo, you can explore the area where Vincent van Gogh once wandered and painted. He also painted the beautiful little church in Zweeloo, and it hasn’t changed a bit. You can see that because a photo of his painting of the church hangs right next to the church itself! And if you really want to visit a lively, atmospheric city: Groningen!!
