Nature house in Reeuwijk

The cottage is very comfortable and has a pleasant kitchen and living room. In hot weather it is very nice that the bedrooms are sunken, which gives a natural coolness that is welcome. The double bed is very wedged between closet and wall, but that is not objectionable. That the shower/bath is just over a meter away from the bed IN the bedroom, we found very inconvenient. I understand that space is limited, but this was a bit strange.The surroundings and location are fantastic, the garden is large enough, even with children. The nearby restaurant where you can also rent a boat is fine, fine service. All in all a very nice cottage, with really only one real point of criticism: the dining table and accompanying chairs outside, can really not anymore. a sturdy wooden table with good dining chairs that can stay outside you should expect for this price. The pedal boat was a big hit with the kids and the canoe with all of us.
I can really recommend the cottage and if you come in the right month you will have some fresh blackberries and berries as a bonus.

Het huisje is erg comfortabel en heeft een prettige keuken en woonkamer. Bij warm weer is het erg fijn dat de slaapkamers verdiept liggen, dat geeft een natuurlijke koelte die welkom is. Het tweepersoons bed ligt wel erg ingeklemd tussen kast en wand, maar dat is niet bezwaarlijk. Dat de douche/bad op iets meer dan een meter afstand van het bed IN de slaapkamer staat, vonden wij erg onhandig. Ik begrijp dat de ruimte beperkt is, maar dit was een beetje vreemd.
De omgeving en de ligging zijn fantastisch, de tuin is groot genoeg, ook met kinderen. Het nabijgelegen restaurant waar je ook een bootje kan huren, is prima, fijne bediening. Al met al een erg fijn huisje, met eigenlijk maar een echt kritiekpunt: de eettafel en bijbehorende stoelen buiten, kunnen echt niet meer. een stevige houten tafel met goede eetstoelen die buiten kunnen blijven staan mag je voor deze prijs wel verwachten.
De waterfiets was een grote hit bij de kinderen en de kano bij ons allemaal.
Ik kan het huisje echt aanraden en als je in de juiste maand komt, heb je als bonus nog wat verse bramen en bessen.

The way the cottage was built and fitted into the environment, along with the beautiful natural landscaping of the garden, gave a wonderful feeling of peace and staying in nature.
On warm days on weekends, there does seem to be a continuous stream of boats and other small craft sailing past the cottage, but we did not find it disturbing.

De wijze waarop het huisje gebouwd is en in de omgeving is gepast, samen met de mooie natuurlijke aanleg van de tuin, gaven een heerlijk gevoel van rust en verblijven in de natuur.
Op warme dagen in het weekend vaart er wel een doorlopende stroom sloepen en andere kleine vaartuigen langs het huisje, maar wij hebben dat niet als storend ervaren.

There is a nice atmosphere in the cottage, this is partly due to the ecological materials and the nice layout.

Er hangt een fijne sfeer in het huisje, dit komt mede door de ecologische materialen en de leuke indeling.

Fine cottage with everything you need. Nice view. Good contact with the owners.

Fijn huisje met alles wat jij nodig hebt. Mooi uitzicht. Goed contact met de eigenaren.

In good weather many people in the area e.g. boating and cycling. The cottage itself private and quiet.

Bij mooi weer veel mensen in de omgeving bijv varen en fietsen. Het huisje zelf privé en rustig.
