Comfortabele bungalow in een rustige omgeving.

The bungalow is located in a vacation park in a quiet area with a large garden all around.The decor is in 70's style but with the modern comforts of a wood stove and good central heating, a large bathtub and an infra red sauna. Furthermore, the kitchen is complete with dishwasher and filter coffee maker.It was wonderfully quiet when I was there ( January 2026).The immediate area around is not very inspiring. If you want to see or do something you have to take the bike or car. I was having a quiet week so this was the perfect place.

De bungalow ligt in een vakantie parkje in een rustige omgeving met grote tuin rondom.
De inrichting is in jaren 70 stijl maar met het moderne comfort van een houtkachel en goede cv, een groot bad en een infra rood sauna. Verder is de keuken compleet met afwasmachine en filter koffiezetapparaat.
Het was heerlijk stil toen ik er was ( januari 2026).
De directe omgeving rondom is niet erg inspirerend. Als je wat wil zien of doen moet je de fiets of auto pakken.
Ik hield een stilte week dus dit was de perfecte plek.

I came to this cottage for my rest and absolutely found it. It is the perfect place to recharge and not have to do anything. An advantage of this forest cottage, besides the very generous garden, is that it stays cool during hot summer days. At night the outside door can be opened for cooling, the screen prevents flies from coming in (although I hardly saw any). There is a radio for matching 60s-70s hits, TV, games, books, DVDs, a Van Haasteren puzzle (complete), dinnerware to match and even a cozy kitchen apron. Everything you need for a nice stay. For sleepers who are easily bothered by light, it may be useful to bring an eye patch. The curtains in the bedroom are not that thick, but the bushes in front of the window already take away most of the light so I did not find it disturbing and could sleep just fine. Once rested there is plenty to do in the area, I mainly visited museums by car and of course walked in the woods.

Ik kwam voor mijn rust naar dit huisje en heb dat absoluut gevonden. Het is de perfecte plek om op te laden en niets te hoeven. Een voordeel van dit boshuisje, naast de zeer royale tuin, is dat het koel blijft tijdens warme zomerdagen. Savonds kan de buitendeur open voor het koelen, de hor voorkomt dat er vliegen binnen komen (al heb ik die nauwelijks gezien). Er is een radio voor bijpassende jaren 60-70 hits, tv, spellen, boeken, DVD's, een Van Haasteren puzzel (compleet), servies dat bij de inrichting past en zelfs een gezellig keukenschort. Alles wat je nodig hebt voor een fijn verblijf. Voor slapers die snel last hebben van licht kan het handig zijn om een ooglapje mee te nemen. De gordijnen in de slaapkamer zijn niet zo dik, maar de struiken voor het raam nemen het meeste licht al weg dus ik vond het niet storend en kon prima uitslapen. Eenmaal uitgerust is er voldoende te ondernemen in de omgeving, ik heb vooral musea bezocht met de auto en natuurlijk in het bos gewandeld.

I experienced tremendous peace in and around this cottage. It is on a bungalow park where I think many retired people also enjoy a quiet summer stay. Apart from sometimes some noises associated with normal garden maintenance, it was very quiet and you only hear the birds. The garden is very spacious and almost completely enclosed by trees, giving you a lot of privacy. You walk straight into the forest and the nearest village is small and quiet.

Ik ervoer enorme rust in en rond dit huisje. Het ligt op een bungalowpark waar volgens mij ook veel gepensioneerden een rustig zomerverblijf genieten. Afgezien van soms wat geluiden die bij normaal tuinonderhoud horen was het heel stil en hoor je alleen de vogels. De tuin is zeer ruim en vrijwel geheel omsloten door bomen, waardoor je veel privacy hebt. Je loopt zo het bos in en het dichtsbijgelegen dorp is klein en rustig.

We had to get used to the furnishings. Tastes differ ;-) But everything is there. Spacious cottage. Spacious garden, just a pity that there was some overdue maintenance. We swept the autumn leaves from the terrace as much as possible. We missed on arrival where to report, but via the phone it was so arranged. Maybe in an email in advance indicate? We found after 2 days only explanation about the cottage. Was between the leaflets. We had already looked up all kinds of things to do in advance, so did not immediately think of that. Maybe put a folder on the dining table, otherwise we had a great couple of days!

Wij moesten even wennen aan de inrichting. Smaken verschillen ;-)
Maar alles is aanwezig. Ruim huisje. Ruime tuin, alleen jammer dat er enig achterstallig onderhoud was. We hebben het herfstblad zoveel mogelijk van het terras geveegd.
We misten bij aankomst waar we moesten melden, maar via de telefoon was het zo geregeld. Misschien in een mail van te voren aangeven?
We vonden na 2 dagen pas uitleg over het huisje. Lag tussen de folders. Wij hadden van te voren al van alles opgezocht om te gaan doen, dus dachten daar niet meteen aan. Misschien een mapje op de eettafel leggen?
Verder een paar prima dagen gehad!
