Nature house in Santa Cruz do Lima

This nature house is actually a spacious and detached country house, partly built in granite, on a wine estate, locally known for its excellent vinho verde. A private entrance and an enclosed garden with pool offers you all the peace and privacy you need. The house has unobstructed views as far as Spain! You enter the house through the kitchen. Via a staircase you reach the spacious living room with comfortable sofas and a cozy fireplace. Adjacent to the living room is the TV room with windows all around, beautiful light and views. The living room opens onto a porch that leads you by stairs to the garden and private pool. The large kitchen is equipped with all appliances and has doors to the terrace with large dining table. Through a long corridor with separate toilet you reach the three spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and fitted wardrobes. All bedrooms have private access to the spacious garden and large swimming pool through garden doors.

The location, climate and environment of the nature house lend themselves perfectly to an active vacation. Close to the river Lima (at 400 meters), where you can walk and bike on the ecovia (car-free), close to the Peneda-Geres National Park and the mountains (about 20 minutes drive) and just a small half hour drive from the ocean with spacious beaches. Along the Lima River many birds can be seen, trout swim (fishing is possible) and otters are also regularly spotted. Some suggestions for the many outdoor activities available here: Canoeing on the Lima River (or one of the many other rivers in northern Portugal), mountain biking on the ecovias or in the green hills and mountains, fishing (trout in the Lima), hiking (on the ecovias in the natural parks or in the many historic, authentic cities nearby), wine tasting (the Minho region is home to the famous Vinho Verde) or kitesurfing on the waves of the Atlantic Ocean (or in one of the coves for a quiet start).
