In the beautiful Reestdal, behind the landlords’ farmhouse, lies this detached, thatched nature house with its own entrance and spacious private garden. The house is all on one level and has two bedrooms, both with their own sink. The master bedroom has two single box-spring beds, and the other bedroom has one single box-spring bed. The cottage also features a cozy living room with a dining area, a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. All windows in the cottage are equipped with screens. The cottage is fully furnished and offers the perfect base for a wonderful vacation. You can park your car in your own parking space; from there, you’ll walk along a private forest path to the cottage. The garden features a covered gazebo, which is a lovely place to sit when it’s raining (or when it’s very hot). You can also charge your electric bike there.

The Reestdal is a unique landscape of centuries-old footpaths, winding cart tracks, hay meadows, hedgerows, ancient oak forests, and small, gently sloping fields. The Reest is a small stream that winds its way through the landscape in wide loops. You’ll find a wide variety of meadow birds, roe deer, badgers, storks, and buzzards there. The nature house is the ideal base for exploring the Reest Valley, whether on foot or by bike. You’ll experience the tranquility of nature—apart from the sounds of a tractor in the neighbor’s pasture, it’s quiet here. But if you’re in the mood for shopping, you’ve come to the right place; cities like Zwolle, Meppel, and Groningen are nearby.
