The nature house consists of a cozy living room with sitting and dining area. There are two bedrooms. One bedroom has a bunk bed (90cm x 200cm) and the other bedroom has a double bed (two mattresses 90cm x 200cm). Pillows and comforters (four single) are provided. Bed linen can be rented through us, or brought from home. The cottage has its own terrace and parking place Outside on the terrace you will find a terrace table with four chairs and garden chair cushions. The large garden of 2,000 m² is shared with another nature house located in the same yard. The garden has plenty of shaded areas for when it is hot. The cottages are about 50 meters away from each other and both have their own entrance and are sufficiently far from each other for you to experience optimal privacy. . No cats allowed due to allergies. Lockable shed for bikes.
Nature and surroundings
Next to the garden begins the bicycle path and a dirt road and about 300 meters away begins the forest, forestry Sleenerzand, a beautiful nature reserve where sheep graze. All year round this is an ideal area for people who love ruust and space. There are many beautiful cycling and walking routes in the immediate vicinity which are also well maintained in winter. De Kiel is a small village in Drenthe, located on the Hondsrug route. De Kiel is centrally located between Emmen (17 kilometers) and Assen (22 kilometers). Villages such as Borger, Orvelte, Westerbork, Schoonoord, Meppen and Zweeloo are close by. Here you will also find the Mantingerveld, a beautiful nature reserve for lovely walks. The bus stop line 21 to Emmen and Assen stops at the main street at 2 min. walk. The museum village Ellert and Brammert at 2 km. The hunebeddorp Borger at 11 km. The Loomeer, in the forest with swimming lake, beach and lawn at 7 km.
