Nature house in Wanneperveen

In the middle of the National Park Weerribben-Wieden in Overijssel you will find this nice nature house. The cottage stands on scaffolding and has an unobstructed view of the lake and has its own jetty with a swimming ladder, not for boats. The cottage has a living room, open kitchen, 1 bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The kitchen is fully equipped. On the ground floor there is one bedroom with a double bed for 2 persons. At the front and rear of the cottage is a lovely terrace. The cottage has its own parking lot 100 meters away. In the morning and evening rush hour you can hear the traffic. You can only fully enjoy when you yourself also guard the silence (no parties/visits). This nature house can also be booked for five people under number 32636. The check-in is on Friday at 13.00 hours and the check-out at 10.00 hours. Please do not deviate from this. Should this be the case, you will be charged 50 euros for this in connection with travel time.

National Park Weerribben-Wieden covers an area of 100 square kilometers. The park is the largest low moor in Europe and was created by peat extraction and later reed cultivation. Around the Ice Age, this area was lower than the rest of the Netherlands, so the water remained in the soil mainly due to the abundance of boulder clay. Due to the accumulation of plant remains over the centuries, a peat layer of several meters was formed. The area now has beautiful flora and fauna due to the clear water and reed beds. This is an ideal base for all kinds of plants, insects and birds. This area is best explored by canoe or whisper boat. There are 3 bikes (2 women's and 1 men's bike) to explore the area. Steenwijkerland has invested a lot in bicycle paths. You will find a bicycle map in the house. Giethoorn is a waterfront village in the head of Overijssel, this is 8 kilometers from the cottage. The fishing village of Urk is 40 kilometers from the cottage. There is also all kinds of information about the Hoge Veluwe, this is 80 kilometers away.
