A very well-equipped kitchen and, overall, a comfortable cottage. Hiking and biking maps, binoculars, and even guides for identifying animals and plants are provided—which is nice to combine with the bird feeders hanging in the trees. I also really enjoyed messing around with chopping wood and tending the stove.

Erg goed uitgeruste keuken en sowieso een comfortabel huisje. Wandel- en fietskaarten, verrekijker, en zelfs boekjes om dieren en planten te identificeren aanwezig, leuk icm het vogelvoer dat in de bomen hangt. Verder zelf ook veel plezier gehad aan het aanrommelen met t houthakken en de kachel.

Truly right in the middle of nature with no one around. At most, an occasional hiker who’s really lost. The hiking right from the cottage is beautiful and varied, but you can also just sit in the sun with a book and enjoy the peace and quiet. We spotted all kinds of birds, squirrels, and a hare.

Écht helemaal in het midden van de natuur met niemand om je heen. Hooguit af en toe een flink verdwaalde wandelaar. 't Is prachtig en afwisselend wandelen direct vanaf het huisje, maar je kunt ook goed met een boekje in de zon gaan zitten genieten van de rust in je heen. Allerlei vogels, eekhoorns en een haas gespot.

We had a wonderful week at this cottage. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay and is clean and well-maintained. Even though it’s located in the middle of the woods, there’s even a good Wi-Fi connection. The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to explain everything about the cottage.

The cottage is right in the middle of the woods. All you can hear is the rustling of the trees and the chirping of the birds. And if you’re lucky, you might even spot a roe deer near the cottage every now and then. The rural surroundings of Twente are also beautiful, with lovely farms and landscapes, and charming nearby towns worth visiting (Denekamp, Ootmarsum, Oldenzaal, and Bad Bentheim).

It’s truly a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the surroundings.

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in dit huisje. Het heeft alles wat je nodig hebt om aangenaam te kunnen verblijven en is schoon en goed onderhouden. Ondanks dat het midden in het bos ligt is er zelfs een goede wifi verbinding. De eigenaren doen er alles aan om je goed te ontvangen en om uitleg te geven bij het huisje.

Het huisje staat midden in het bos. Je hoort alleen het ruisen van de bomen en het fluiten van de vogels. En als je geluk hebt spot je bij het huisje zo nu een dan ook wel een ree. En ook de Twentse landelijke omgeving is prachtig. Mooi boerderijen en landschappen en leuke te bezoeken nabij liggende plaatsjes (Denekamp, Ootmarsum, Oldenzaal en Bad Bentheim).

Echt een heerlijke plek om tot rust te komen én om te genieten van de omgeving

The cottage is equipped with all the necessities, it is like staying with people.

Het huisje is voorzien van alle benodigdheden, het is net alsof je bij mensen logeert.
