This unique nature house on the Wijde Aa, which connects to the Braassemermeer, has a large garden of 950 m² with fruit trees and vegetable garden. Because of its location, the cottage has a beautiful view over the waters of Woubrugge. The cottage received a refreshment in the spring of 2024. You will find a spacious living room with laminate flooring, separate kitchen and immediately adjacent a large barn with toilet (indoor access). On the second floor you will find a bedroom with a double bed (140x200cm) and a bathroom with shower and sink. In the attic there is room to create an additional sleeping place. The nature house has three terraces, so always in the sun and out of the wind. You can cast a fishing rod from the terrace, the water is rich in bass, carp and pike. Pets are allowed, provided they are well behaved! Arrival is on Sunday, the minimum rental period is one week (departure on Sunday). The cottage is non-smoking.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the Green Heart of the Netherlands. There is plenty of space for walking or cycling. Surrounded with small village centers with several farms selling homemade cheese and self-harvested vegetables. It is a vast landscape with lots of water and polders that are freely accessible. The village of Woubrugge is about one kilometer away. The village has a small shopping center and several restaurants on the Wetering. For more facilities, Alphen aan den Rijn is about a 10-minute drive away. If you have a (private or rental) boat, then the nature house is a perfect base to discover the Hollandse Plassen area and the city of Leiden from the water.
