Right in the middle of the meadows, you’ll suddenly come across this charming nature house. A small, park-like campground with beautiful sunsets. The grounds are filled with many flowering shrubs and plants, which will delight you, the birds, and the bees. It’s still dark at night, and you can count the stars from the porch of your chalet. The campground is a perfect base for the many bike rides you can take in the area. Or you can enjoy a leisurely stroll through one of the nearby national parks. But there are also plenty of facilities for a relaxing day at the campground: bocce, a ping-pong table, a lounge filled with books, and a large playground for the kids with a zip line, trampoline, play fort, and go-karts. There’s a small shop where you can pick up fresh rolls, delicious with the owner’s homemade jam. If you don’t feel like cooking, order a delicious pizza from Bianca.
Nature and surroundings
This rural campground is surrounded by beautiful national parks, including the Drents-Friese Woud and the Dwingelderveld. Here, you can spend days wandering across the heath, through the woods, and past lovely little ponds. The Hijkerveld is also nearby, with a large flock of sheep you can wander among. Even in the immediate vicinity, you can take beautiful walks through the countryside, which takes you across the heath and through scenic areas. Or you can visit the old villages of Drenthe, such as Diever and Dwingeloo; in Orvelte, too, you can imagine yourself back in days gone by. There’s also plenty for children to do in the area: visit the prison museum, explore the gnome village, wander through a cornfield, walk along a barefoot trail in the woods, or follow a gnome trail.

Alles er op en er aan en heerlijk schoon.
Een prachtig uitzicht vanuit het huisje op de groene weilanden met koeien en s'avonds bij goed weer de mooiste zonsondergang

Alles is in het huisje aanwezig, je komt niets te kort. Schoon en netjes. Ziet er superstrak uit. Heerlijke ruime veranda met een groot stuk gras waar je heerlijk kunt zitten met mooi weer. Mogelijkheid tot vuur maken, echt top!
Een fantastisch weids uitzicht! Zonsondergang.
