Nature house in Kullen / Nyhammar

Welcome to this nature house in Sweden! It is located 2.5 hours from Stockholm, which makes flying also quite possible. 10 kilometers away is a small supermarket and 30 kilometers away is the city of Ludvika. A little further, about 45 kilometers away, is the town of Borlänge, which also has a nice indoor shopping center. So in the middle of nature, yet not too far from "civilization". Also suitable for autumn and winter! The cottage is heated with electric radiators. Many hiking and biking opportunities. A very spacious and beautiful nature house in the middle of the Swedish forests. A beautiful circular walk of 30 kilometers starts here around the corner. A small walk of 400 meters to the top of the hill takes you to a large observation tower. Climb it and you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of the vast Swedish forests and lakes. There is a washing machine available in our outhouse.

This nature house was started with the aim of offering people peace and quiet. Therefore, to reach the cottage, you have to walk five kilometers along a gravel path into the forest to the village of Kullen. Kullen is a village with 25 inhabitants. It is easily accessible by car. At night you can literally hear a pin drop and also during the day you are more likely to encounter the local wildlife than a human being. All seasons are magnificent! Discover pristine nature in Sweden's endless forests. Enjoy what they have to offer in terms of various varieties of raspberries, berries, blackberries and wild strawberries, from which the most delicious jams and sauces are made here. Or visit the nature house in autumn and find the biggest and tastiest mushrooms under the colorful foliage. There are also many lakes nearby. Explore the beautiful lakes by canoe or go fishing. Rest and unwind. You can and may create your own swimming or picnic spot almost anywhere. Within an hour you are at two different ski areas (Romme Alpin and Säfsen) and there are also several cross-country and touring ski routes nearby. Also, between Borlange and Falun you have Runn Lake, which is the longest (and widest) swept ice rink in Europe.
