This nature house has been converted into an environmentally friendly nature house in which all possible means to save energy have been used, such as solar cells, heat pump and infrared heating. The village Hollerath is traditionally known as a winter sports area because of its beautiful location. At the edge of the village, in the middle of nature, lies the eight-person cottage with a unique view. The house is ideal for families, hikers, cyclists, cross-country skiers, as well as for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with children), large groups and furry friends (pets). In the immediate vicinity, besides the forest Hohes Venn, across the street, there are plenty of opportunities for admiring the beautiful Eifel. For example, there is a winter sports area seven kilometers away: Der Weisse Stein in Udenbreth. A large amount of trails for cross-country skiers, these start across the street. The bird of prey watch, in the cozy town of Hellenthal, provides daily shows. The imposing dam Oleftalsperre is 10 kilometers away, here you can relax and swim in the summer. And of course the Nurburgring is also within easy reach. Within walking distance is the center of Hollerath with the cozy restaurant Alt Lehner, where the very friendly service an exceptionally delicious meal is available.
