Was wel een beetje rommelig in het huisje en het kon wel wat schoner zijn. Buiten liggen nog oude half overwoekerde houten vlonders van het voetpad wat ook een beetje rommelige aanblik geeft. Als stadsmens uit een "keurig" appartement was dat even een andere mindset inschakelen.
Het wegbrengen van het afval op de laatste dag was wat lastig omdat je in Giethoorn een pasje nodig hebt voor de ondergrondse afvalcontainers.
