Nature house in Haler

The nature house is situated in a rural area in Central Limburg. What makes this spacious house special is that the living area (loft) is located on the first floor, and the many windows on all sides offer sweeping views of the countryside. There is a large natural garden with many old trees and plenty of privacy, equipped with swings, a trampoline, and go-karts. Inside, the nature house features a very contemporary design: modern, comfortable, spacious, and cozy. The luxurious, open kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances (including an espresso machine). Most bedrooms are spacious and furnished with extra-large single box-spring beds. On the first floor, there are four bedrooms, two restrooms, and two luxurious bathrooms—both with showers, and one also featuring a bathtub. Downstairs, the cozy fifth bedroom has a double bed. Rooms 6 and 7 each have a private bathroom. Downstairs, you’ll also find the playroom, a garden room with a sauna, and a luxurious wellness bathroom. (Check-out time on Sundays is around 4:00 p.m.; the owner lives in the same building but has a separate entrance.)

The nature house is located on the Belgian border, in a rural setting. The Kempenbroek Border Park begins nearby, featuring nature reserves such as De Krang, Tungeler Wallen, Stramprooier Broek, and De IJzeren Man. It’s a great place for cycling, as the terrain is virtually flat.The farm is situated along a large network of cycling junctions, allowing you to cycle into Belgium and through the Maasplassen area (the largest lake district in the Netherlands)! It’s also wonderful for hiking here: a network of hiking junctions starts practically at the front door. Old sandy paths, little chapels, streams, and the occasional wooded bank. And you can hear and see lapwings, buzzards, Eurasian jays, woodpeckers, and tawny owls. The golden oriole has also been spotted. Early in the morning, you might even see roe deer and, occasionally, wild boars. Fun day trips include exploring the Maasplassen (including by water) and the towns along the Meuse: the white town of Thorn, Maaseik (Belgium), and Stevensweert. Historic Roermond is a 20-minute drive away, Maastricht is 35 minutes away, and Düsseldorf is an hour away.
