Renovated vacation home: downstairs bedroom and your pet is also welcome! This nature house is located in a wooded area, near the cozy village of Norg, at the end of a forest path. In 2006 it was still a small recreation house, but now it is a full-fledged nature house with all modern conveniences. It features a spacious, bright conservatory and underfloor heating. The nature house can accommodate six people and has 2 bathrooms, shower / toilet downstairs and a bath and 2nd toilet upstairs. It is situated on a plot of over 700 m2. It is ideally suited for people who seek peace and quiet and want to relax for a while. If you sit in the garden, you see and hear different birds in the trees, you hear small shrews rustling among the leaves and with a little luck there is also a squirrel jumping from branch to branch. Nature and surroundings
In Norg and its surroundings there are many activities for nature and sports lovers. For example, Norg has an indoor pool and tennis courts and you can rent bikes. From the house you can take endless walks in the woods or use the hiking and cycling routes that start from the village. The village offers plenty of catering facilities. Assen and Groningen are about 20 minutes away by car. The landscape around Norg is formed by ash trees, stream valleys, forests and moors. Many customs of the past, such as mowing, haying and grazing, are still continued here. On the ash fields grain is grown. The Norger Esdorpen Landscape includes the Norgerholt and the Tonckensbos. Between Norg, Peest and Donderen is the Noordsche Veld, where you imagine yourself on the great silent heath of the past. Scottish Highlanders and a beautiful herd of land goats have taken over the task of the sheep herd. They create an old-fashioned heathland, where vipers, lizards and birds such as curlews and stonechat sparrows feel at home.
