This two-person nature house features spacious and cozy sitting room. It has a modern luxury open kitchen with dishwasher and oven and all appliances for self-catering. Furthermore, our Nature House and bedroom with a lovely box spring bed, a separate toilet and a modern shower and sink. The cottage is equipped with every luxury and comfort. Furthermore, it has its own terrace with table and comfortable chairs, and a view over the entire Geul valley. You can also use a large sheltered garden with lovely seats. In the vacation periods our house can only be booked per week.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Epen. One overlooks the five star hill country with forests, beautiful hiking trails and small roads. From the apartment you can walk onto the footpath along the gully, from where you can take various walks. If you want some more hustle and bustle, and enjoy a larger shopping city, the cities of Maastricht, Aachen and Liege are also nearby.

Esther gave us a warm welcome and immediately showed us around while sharing some interesting facts. The apartment is spacious, clean, and fully equipped. You’ll hardly find yourself missing anything here. The bed is comfortable, and there’s plenty of closet space for clothes.
There’s a nice little terrace out front, and out back there’s a private garden for even more peace and quiet if that’s what you’re looking for.
There are several restaurants in the area within a short walking distance. During this time of year, be sure to make a reservation in advance—otherwise, you won’t get a table.
If you’d like, you can pick up fresh pastries in the morning at the bakery 200 meters away (closed Sun–Mon), and the Spar is just a bit further into the village. It also has a tourist information service point where we bought a hiking map.

Als je wilt kun je 's morgens verse broodjes halen bij de bakker op 200 meter (zo-ma dicht) en de Spar zit net wat verder in het dorp. Deze heeft ook een VVV servicepunt waar wij een wandelkaart kochten.

Uw opmerking over de omgeving verbaast ons wel enigszins. Bij het uitchecken gaf u juist aan dat u volop had genoten van vooral de rust en het comfortabele huisje.
Het is jammer om nu een ander beeld terug te lezen.
Het heuvelland trekt inderdaad dagjesmensen en motorrijders aan, maar het huisje ligt vrij in het groen en de provinciale/lokale weg bevindt zich op afstand. Juist dankzij de ligging en de extra de achtertuin met loungeset waar gasten gebruik van kunnen maken, ervaren onze gasten hier over het algemeen rust en natuur.
