Nature house in Ansen

This is a very special nature house! This so-called "plaggenhut" belongs in Drenthe. Here you can experience the atmosphere of the past, but with the comfort of today. The cottage has a cozy living room with a comfortable seating area. The kitchen with granite countertop has a gas stove, refrigerator, sink and coffee maker. The cottage has one double bedstead and two single beds. There is also a bathroom with toilet, shower and a sink. During the cold winter days the cottage is heated by means of the wood stove and floor heating. The special feature of the plaggenhut is that it has a goat stall. So during your stay you can take care of the goats Greet and Gerrit and take them for a walk! From the living room you can look right into the stall, you can see them but they absolutely do not smell! Experience this!

The nature house is directly adjacent to the National Park Dwingelderveld. That means 3800 hectares 'backyard'! Hours cycling or walking without seeing a car. Enjoying the Dwingeloose Heide, wandering through the woods and from the bird hide gazing over the Davidsplassen. In this area you can do it all. The village of Ansen is located between the well-known villages of Ruinen and Dwingeloo.
