Nature house in Monschau

The vacation address is located on the outskirts of picturesque Monschau in the middle of the German Eifel. On the left side of the original half-timbered building you will find the completely new nature house which is suitable for four to six persons. This apartment has a completely private entrance with a terrace of about 12 m². The ground floor is divided into the living room (with a comfortable corner sofa, a spacious dining table for six persons) and the open kitchen. Here you will also find the bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. The staircase leads to the upper floor with a total of two bedrooms. One for two persons and one for four persons. All beds are single box springs. The total area of this apartment is about 100 m².Note: at Christmas and New Year's Eve we rent only per week

The Eifel is ideally suited for nature lovers, hikers and mountain bikers. From the door you walk left along the Rur, directly into the designated hiking area with numerous arterial roads in different directions. You experience the changing seasons at first hand. The hilly landscape around Monschau is varied with forests, heathland and quaint villages. In spring, wild daffodils grow. To the south is the nature reserve Perlenbachtal with its marshes and the High Fens, which crosses the Belgian border. Monschau is a small town on the edge of the Eifel, about 50 kilometers from Aachen on the Belgian border. Little has changed in Monschau's historic center for 300 years. You see half-timbered houses and beautiful facades all around you here. Monschau is located in the valley of the Roer (Rur). Thanks to its old center and its location among the green hills near the Eifel Nature Park, Monschau is popular with tourists. The Daffodil Trail is a spring hike par excellence. It takes nine kilometers through the valleys around Monschau and Hellenthal, which will turn into a yellow sea of daffodils from mid/end of March. You can start the route in the village of Kaltenherberg near Monschau. The route follows the Perlenbach to its mouth in Fuhrtbach.
