Beautiful location. The cottage was clean, well-maintained, nicely decorated, and fully equipped, including good bikes to borrow. We also received a warm welcome; we were given eggs from their own chickens and sausage rolls (including vegetarian options!). Overall, we had a very pleasant stay in a very peaceful and beautiful setting.
However, just before we left, we were told—or rather, accused—of having made excessive use of certain facilities, something we absolutely did not agree with. We always try to treat the nature house we rent with respect, and we’ve truly never had any problems with previous houses.
It was very strange and completely at odds with the hospitality we’d experienced up to that point. It cast a shadow over what could otherwise have been a wonderful vacation, and as a result, we ultimately left and returned home feeling annoyed and disappointed.
That’s why we can’t give a 10 now, which we otherwise definitely would have done.Mooie locatie. We proberen altijd respectvol met het gehuurde natuurhuisje om te gaan, en hebben met vorige natuurhuisjes werkelijk nooit problemen gehad.
Heel vreemd en niet te rijmen met de gastvrijheid die we daarvoor ervoeren. Het overschaduwde wat anders een mooie vakantie had kunnen zijn, en we zijn daardoor uiteindelijk vertrokken en thuisgekomen met een vervelend en teleurgesteld gevoel.
