The bedrooms downstairs and on the 1st floor (6 in total) were excellent. Glad we didn't have to use the other 2 rooms in the attic though.

De slaapkamers beneden en op de 1e verdieping (6 in totaal) waren uitstekend. Wel blij dat we niet gebruik moesten maken van de andere 2 kamers op zolder.

Located in Wembay, but supermarket and bakery 5 min drive on main road near Tenneville. Made walks from the house (map is in the house). On Sunday there was a car rally all day close to the house. Owner notified in advance and told us where to park the car in case we needed it. Hiked along the river away from the trail. Wonderfully quiet. But sat at the house in the morning watching that car race with horror and amazement (some) and pleasure (others). Opinions were divided, though very friendly offer from the owner to stay 1 day longer.
We hebben met onze vriendengroep (10 personen en 1 hond) genoten van dit ruime, sfeervolle huis. Prachtige omgeving, weids uitzicht. Gelegen in Wembay, maar supermarkt en bakker op 5 min. rijden aan doorgaande weg bij Tenneville. Wandelingen gemaakt vanuit het huis (kaartje ligt in het huis).
Op zondag was er de hele dag een autorally vlak langs het huis. Eigenaar heeft het van tevoren gemeld en ons verteld waar we de auto moesten parkeren voor het geval we deze nodig hadden. Wandeling langs de rivier gemaakt, ver weg van het parcours. Heerlijk rustig. Maar in de ochtend bij het huis ook wel met afschuw en verbazing (sommigen) en plezier (anderen) naar die autorace zitten kijken. Meningen waren verdeeld.
