Located on a farm country road, tucked under some old oak trees, in the middle of the meadows. Away from all the hustle and bustle, enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. You look out all around on the tree-lined meadows where cows or sheep graze. If the farmer has just cut the grass, the storks perch right next to you. The cottage offers sleeping accommodation for two people. In the octagonal room you will find a spacious double bed and simple kitchenette, with oven and electric stove (one burner) and you have a beautiful view over the meadows. The spacious bathroom has a walk-in shower, sink and toilet. The covered terrace is a great place to relax. Also in the garden with fruit trees you have all the privacy and you can enjoy the beautiful view. And there is an excellent WIFI connection. Ideal for a weekend or a short vacation!

The Reest valley lies on the border between Overijssel and Drenthe. The river meanders almost unhollandishly through the varied landscape where flowery meadows, old hedgerows, heath and forest alternate. An eldorado for hikers and cyclists; there is much to discover and experience here. Restaurants and stores can be found in the nearby villages of Balkbrug, Zuidwolde or De Wijk. And for some city entertainment you can visit the cozy Meppel or Zwolle.
