Nature house in Meppen

In the middle of three beautiful Drenthe nature reserves lies this detached nature house. This nature house is a Finnish bungalow, on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Meppen, in the southeast of the province of Drenthe. Here is where you will find what you are looking for as a holidaymaker or tourist. A quiet, green environment, level accommodations and friendly people who are there for you. The Drenthe geniality is here for granted! The six-person Finnish bungalow (non-smoking) has a large living room with dining area, bar and open kitchen. There are three bedrooms; one master bedroom with a double box spring 160x200 (new 2022!) and two bedrooms each with a bunk bed 80 x 190. The bungalow has a south-facing veranda and a spacious garden, equipped with garden furniture. Because of its location, it offers a lot of peace and privacy. The pool at the park is open from mid-April to September.

From the nature house you can walk into one of the three nature reserves. On one side the forest the Mepperdennen with real juniper forests. On the other side is the Geeserstroom area with a great diversity of birds. Next you will find the Mantingerzand, a unique piece of nature with beautiful hiking trails. In the area you will see forests, dolmens, moors with sheep herds, old villages such as Meppen, Gees and old Aalden, workshops, museums and restaurants. And do you want something different? You are so in Wildlands Adventure Zoo or museum village Orvelte. But also modern cities like Emmen and Assen for a wonderful day of shopping are nearby.(Attention! Our Finnish bungalows are located on a small family park, very suitable for families, seniors and those seeking peace and quiet. Young people, students and/or other similar groups are not welcome!)
