This charming nature house is located between three beautiful Drenthe nature reserves, on the outskirts of the village of Meppen. The cottage has a living room, kitchen, three bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. In the cozy living room there is a comfortable corner sofa, armchair, dining table, bar with bar stools, a television and radio/CD player. Adjacent you will find the kitchen, equipped with a gas stove, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and kettle. There are three bedrooms: one bedroom with a double box spring of 160x200 and two bedrooms with a single bed of 80 x 1,90. All bedrooms have their own sink. The cottage has a south-facing veranda and a spacious garden, equipped with garden furniture. Because of its location, the cottage offers plenty of peace and privacy. The cottage is pet-free and non-smoking! The pool at the park is open from mid-April to September.
Nature and surroundings
From the cottage you can walk right into one of the three nature reserves. On one side you find the forest the Mepperdennen with real juniper forests. On the other side you find the Geeserstroom area with a great diversity of birds. Adjacent is the Mantingerzand, a unique piece of nature with beautiful hiking trails. In the vicinity you will see forests, dolmens, moors with sheep herds and old villages such as Meppen, Gees and old Aalden. Want a day out? You are so in Wildlands Adventure Zoo or museum village Orvelte. But also modern cities like Emmen and Assen are nearby.(Attention! Our Finnish bungalows are located on a small family park, very suitable for families, seniors and those seeking peace and quiet. Young people, students and/or other similar groups are not welcome!)
