Nature and surroundings

The nature house is located in a nature reserve that has been designated a “National Landscape.” The Duffelt, the Millingerwaard, and the Ooijpolder are rugged nature reserves where you can hike and bike to your heart’s content. The Rhine floodplains are also home to a wide variety of animals, such as beavers, wild geese, storks, Konik horses, and Galloway cattle. A tributary of the Rhine is just a stone’s throw from the nature house. The dike is designated for cyclists and hikers. The historic village of Schenkenschanz can be reached by ferry. The cities of Kleve, Kranenburg, and Xanten are worth a visit. Nijmegen, the oldest city in the Netherlands, is about 18 kilometers away. It’s a wonderful place to spend a day.

A really nice little house with a beautiful, spacious garden. The pool, in particular, was a pleasant surprise—it didn’t look that big in the photos.
The kitchen equipment was just fine; only the BBQ was a bit lacking.
A fire pit (weather permitting) would also be nice to use.

    Nature, peace & environment: 5 /5

Very quiet location, beautiful garden with plenty of space.

I thought it was just a house in a rural setting. everything was there. The beds were made. Lovely. nice terraces there. it was a quiet environment. Children could play nicely on the lawn and the trampoline.
