Nature house in Mechelen

Luxury nature house in the south of Limburg. In the middle of the South Limburg hills, in the protected villagescape of Schweiberg, lies this nature house. Behind the facades of this traditional long-gabled farmhouse is more than 125 years of history. During this period, the function of the farmstead changed from farm to a small-scale accommodation, with three luxury two to three-person vacation homes. The interior is atmospheric in a warm, country style. In early 2016, the houses were renovated with an eye for detail, opting for a high-quality finish and preservation of characteristic elements. In the old courtyard, at the back of the farmhouse, each cottage has a spacious terrace with plenty of privacy and access to WiFi. Because we find it important that our guests can enjoy the tranquility around the farmhouse, we have chosen that if guests want to stay with children, we have a minimum age of 15 years.

Although the interior changed and the nature house is furnished with today's luxuries, the authentic character and rural atmosphere of the farmhouse has been preserved. Mergellander sheep still graze the accompanying sloping orchard with the tall-stemmed fruit trees so characteristic of the region. The panoramic view from the farmhouse over the extensive orchard and the hilly country with slope forest behind it make the location of the cottage truly unique. Of course, you may also use the sunbathing lawn adjacent to the orchard. The lawn is equipped with wooden garden furniture, picnic benches and a large barbecue. In this wonderful place, surrounded by fruit trees and overlooking the hills, you will experience what it is like to be in South Limburg.
