Nature house in Haaksbergen

This nature house is a very spacious vacation home in Twente. Imagine, from the spacious deck terrace you have a direct view of the oldest working double water mill in the country! Because of the elevated location of the cottage (at forest level) you have a beautiful view of the immediate surroundings. The nature house is spacious and practically furnished and includes two spacious bedrooms with box-spring beds, a living room with open kitchen, a bathroom with shower cabin and a hall with separate toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped. Nothing is missing in this house, there is a flat screen TV with fiber optic connection! WiFi, Sonos, CD player, et cetera. In the living room is a cabinet full of tips, hiking and cycling routes in the area. This nature house is located in a unique place in the forest where you will not miss anything. In the shed you can store bicycles, lockable and with electricity so you can recharge your E-Bike. Behind our house there is a bench and a fire basket.

The immediate surroundings of this cottage in Twente already invite you to take a short walk around the water mill and along the creek. If you want to walk a little further, you can also go from this house to the Lankheet with its beautiful hiking trails and water park. Very special is the Haaksbergerveen, but also the Buurse Meertje and the Witte Veen are hiking or biking destinations you will not regret. The Schipbeek, on which the water mill is located, used to be navigated between Westphalia and Deventer. Now on certain days, the Buurser Pot sails there, where you can take a tour of the brook accompanied by guides. The surroundings of this cottage are very inviting for cycling trips in the beautiful Twente coulisse landscape. Within cycling distance there are two water mills with a cozy terrace, One is at the Mallumse mill is located beyond the Lankheet. The second on German territory, the Haarmuhle is located beyond the Haaksbergerveen against the Witte Veen.
