This nature house is part of a national monument built in 1780. Because the cottage is located high on a hill, you have a panoramic view of the landscape of the Geul valley. The cottage is modern and cozy. The beautiful kitchen is fully equipped. You have a ceramic hob, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, coffee maker and kettle. In the living room there is a comfortable sitting area with digital television and DVD player. The bathroom is very luxuriously furnished with a bath, shower, toilet and two sinks. The cottage has a spacious private terrace where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset every evening.... Because this property is focused on providing a quiet place to stay, it is not possible to stay with a travel party with children under 15 years old. This nature house is the lilac one on the floor plan with access to private sauna.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on the edge of the Vijlenerbos: the highest forest in the Netherlands. The river Geul flows only 150 meters away from the garden. From the cottage you walk along a path through the meadow to the towns of Epen and Mechelen.
