This secluded nature house is located on the edge of a private forest park with an unprecedented large lot of private land, namely more than 4,100 m² of private forest! This makes it a unique location. It is a very cozy, snug, simple (showering behind a shower curtain and washing your own dishes) and dated (late 1960s) cottage that is beautifully situated. It has a porch, making it possible to enjoy the beautiful scenery outside even during rainy days. It is quiet and dark in this area, which makes a visit to this house very special. The living room has a particularly cozy atmosphere thanks to low windows and a wood stove. From the nature house you have a beautiful view of the forest and a meadow. Outside in the forest is a trampoline. Use of it is allowed, but entirely at your own risk. Two little dogs are allowed. You will return in time.

In the woods of Wateren and on the border of the national park Drents-Friese Wold you will find this cozy nature house. It is part of a small forest park consisting of private plots of land, and is located roughly between the towns of Appelscha, Diever and Vledder. The area is characterized by tranquility and natural beauty (forests, moors, shifting dunes and several small lakes). The nature house has no less than 4,100 m² of its own forest! So here you can enjoy nature to your heart's content. Bring your own: fitted sheets (there are two single beds and one double box spring bed), comforter covers for single comforters (you can also bring your own comforter), pillowcases and hand and tea towels.
