The "spaciousness" in this nature house is emphasized inside by the large U-shaped space (total 90 m2) for sleeping, living and cooking, and by the height of the two hoods (respectively four and a half and five meters high). Furthermore, the covered veranda over the full width of the house (about 12 m) offers a wide view over the fields. The wooden floor and two soapstone gas stoves give this cottage a warm and rural atmosphere. The large four-poster bed in the sleeping area evokes romance, while the desk overlooking the meadows invites you to reflect, do some writing or work. This nature house is suitable for 1 or 2 adults, possibly with 1 or max. 2 kids. Besides the spacious double bed, there is another single bed on the ground floor, between the sleeping and living areas. In the small attic room there is a second single bed. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, microwave, quick filter coffee app. and nespesso app, dishwasher and washing machine.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house (large chalet) is located on 5000 m2 of land, behind an old thatched farmhouse in which occasionally guests stay. The wild garden is large, green and lush. Nearby you will find several beautiful natural areas that are very varied, including sand drifts, forests, moors, sandy paths and meadows. Near the house is a lovely forest, about 5 minutes walking distance, and about 7 km away is the Mandefjild, an old and beautiful walking area, while the Fochteloerveen near Veenhuizen is also a beautiful nature reserve. For cyclists, cyclists, joggers and walkers, the area is very inviting. There are also opportunities for horseback riding in the area, visiting Wellness Center De Waterlelie in Zevenhuizen or the swimming pool in Norg for some swimming laps. About 5 km away is the Rono beach, and about 3 km away is a very large dolmen, with another beautiful hiking area right behind it.
