Nature house in Bosch en Duin

This former garage was converted in September 2016 into a very luxurious and stylish nature house. Ideal for two people, but also suitable for a family with two children or four friends. It is fully insulated and is heated by underfloor heating and a wood stove. With a window as large as the garage doors and on the other side windows up to the ridge and three large skylights, it is a lovely light space with stunning views of garden and forest. Meanwhile, at the request of some guests, blinds have been installed for the windows next to the entrance. The nature house consists of one large room with a wooden unit in the middle. On one side of the unit is a full kitchen. On the other side is a small but tasteful shower, toilet and sink. The unit offers spacious closets, drawers and a staircase leading upstairs. There is a double bed. For lodgers afraid of heights, there is a spacious, comfortable couch in the sitting room that turns into a double bed with one move. The drawings and images by the landlords' son make the room look personal and cheerful. The nature house has its own private and sheltered terrace with comfortable chairs and cushions. In the woods there is a bench to enjoy nature in peace. There is also a hammock. There is Wifi and TV via iPad. Check-in is after 1:00 pm is and check-out is before 11:00 am.

This nature house is located on a quiet avenue in Bosch and Duin in the yard of an attractive 1905 gardener's house, which is part of an estate. Bosch en Duin is a villa district of Zeist and is located in the middle of a wooded area. A three-minute walk from the Panbos, together with two estates a wonderful walking area of 367 hectares. Eight kilometers away is ideal cycling in the forests of Lage Vuursche, Soestdijk and Castle Groeneveld in Baarn. 10 kilometers south from Driebergen lies the Utrechtse Heuvelrug with its Stichtse Lustwarande, a series of more than 100 country estates from De Bilt to Rhenen. Culture is also within easy reach. The heart of Utrecht is 10 minutes away by car or bus, but can also be easily reached by bike (12 kilometers). The Dom church/tower, the Central Museum, the Railway Museum, the flower market on Saturdays at Janskerkhof combined with a terrace/restaurant on the canal make for a wonderful day out. National Military Museum in Soesterberg with the former airbase, Museum Oud Amelisweerd with the Armando collection, Waterlinie Museum at Fort Vechten in Bunnik, a city walk in Utrecht or Amersfoort, just a few tips for a nice day out.
