Lots of peace and quiet can be found in this comfortable, detached, four-person nature house, located on a dirt road in the middle of beautiful nature and yet also close to the cozy green villages of Roden and Norg. You have a view of the garden and the meadows and woods. The garden doors give access to a spacious terrace with garden furniture. The detached nature house is modernly furnished and fully equipped: dishwasher, oven, microwave and washing machine. There is a spacious bathroom. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms and an extra toilet. The beds are made and very comfortable. A crib or baby bed can be added. There are wonderful walking and cycling routes through the forest and moorland. There is a large fenced garden, for children this is a safe environment with a large playground equipment. And of course there is a spacious shed to safely store your bicycles ( if you rent them or take them with you).
Nature and surroundings
From the nature house you can walk straight into nature. You can walk from here to the dolmen in Steenbergen, to the Zuursche Dunes and to the Mensinghebos. The entrance to the beautiful estate Nieuw Holthuizen is nearby. On the bike you can make the most beautiful routes to the Nienoord Estate in Leek or to the Leekstermeer, but also to the green villages of Roden and Norg and the Prison Museum in Veenhuizen. Nearby there is plenty to do for children: the Ronostrand, Familiepark Nienoord in Leek, Het Sprookjeshof in Zuidlaren and the Kinderwereld Museum and Children's Farm here in Roden. The city of Groningen is nearby and also well worth a visit.
