Nature house in Winterberg

Near Winterberg, between Altastenberg and Nordenau, lies the tranquil Nesselbach Valley. The sustainable, insulated Nature house, a Norwegian log cabin, has a unique view from the veranda over the idyllic Nesselbach valley. The Nature house has a cozy sitting area, a bunk bed (4 persons), induction stove, refrigerator, fireplace etc.. In winter, light up the fireplace and enjoy a drink together at the end of the day. The shower and toilet are located in the sanitary building (40 meters). You have the possibility to order a breakfast basket in the morning and possibly enjoy a three-course menu in the evening, which the landlords offer. Of course you can use the offers of the landlords, such as a small map, games, books and organized hikes. If there are enough bookings, snowshoe hikes are organized in winter. The Nature house has no running water.

The Nature house is located directly on the hiking and mountain biking route. Due to the quiet location, you can still enjoy nature here, such as deer, foxes, the red kite or buzzards. Even the black stork has been seen here. The landlords have a number of great hiking routes and can also pick out a route for you. The Norwegian log cabin is located eight kilometers from the center of Winterberg in the middle of Hochsauerland and you can visit various attractions or enjoy the view of the Kahler Asten. It is also nice to discover the underground passages of the mine in Ramsbeck. There are also various reservoirs such as the Mohnsee, Biggesee and Hennesee lakes. In winter, the first slopes of Altastenberg are located at 1300 meters from the Norwegian log cabin. The large ski area of Winterberg is 4.5 kilometers away. In winter as well as in summer it is a great experience to look out over the valley from the Nature house and enjoy the view in front of the fireplace.
