Nature and surroundings
The nature house is part of a yard and is located in the nature reserve "De Geelders" at the intersection of the Boxtelseweg and the "Duits Lijntje" (the former railroad line from Boxtel to Wezel in Germany). "De Geelders," an original pocket forest also known as the "wet pearl" borders the Dommel Valley, one of the most beautiful stream valley landscapes in Brabant. Together these areas are part of Landschap Het Groene Woud and offer many opportunities for hiking, cycling, mountain biking or even canoeing. It is a relatively unknown area where there is still much to discover. Every season is beautiful, there is a lot of natural grassland, forest and hedges, where there are a lot of different birds and sometimes some bigger 'game'.
