Nature house in Hellendoorn

A very nice house, with a spacious yard, a spacious living area, and a spacious dining area. It’s very comfortable if, like us, you’re traveling with five adults and two little ones and also have guests staying for a day. The playground equipment was ideal for the two little ones, though there wasn’t a sandbox, as mentioned in the description.
The house is located next to the cow barn, and at least one of us didn’t particularly like the smell of manure. For the little ones, though, it’s fun to watch the cows.

Heel fijn huis, met ruime tuin, ruime zithoek en ruime eethoek. Heel comfortabel als je, zoals wij, met vijf volwassenen en twee kleintjes bent en ook nog een dag bezoek ontvangt. Speeltoestellen ideaal voor die twee kleintjes, alleen was er niet, zoals in de beschrijving stand, een zandbak.
Het huis ligt naast de koeienstal en tenminste een van ons vond de geur van mest niet zo prettig. Voor de kleintjes is het wel weer leuk om naar die koeien te kijken.

The house itself is in a very quiet location, with virtually unobstructed views, but you can hear the nearby provincial road a little.

You can literally walk from the house into the Regge Valley, which is a completely different area from the Sallandse Heuvelrug—a beautiful hiking area with heathland and woods that’s less than a quarter of an hour away by car.

Het huis ligt op zich heel rustig, met zo goed als vrij uitzicht, maar je hoort wel de niet zo veraf liggende provinciale weg een beetje.

Je kunt letterlijk vanaf het huis wandelen in de Reggevallei en dat is dan weer een heel ander gebied dan de Sallandse Heuvelrug, die met de auto nog geen kwartier is en ook een prachtig wandelgebied, met hei en bos.

We really enjoyed that the kids could play with water from the garden hose we were given.

We vonden het heel fijn dat de kids met water konden spelen van de tuinslang die we kregen.

The house is very nice, spacious, and has almost everything you need. Unfortunately, we were there during the hottest days of the year so far. It was supposed to have air conditioning, but unfortunately it didn’t work, which made it almost unbearable inside. I would have appreciated it if there had been some fans available to make up for it.
Leaving the doors open let a lot of flies into the house from the adjacent cow barn. That made the first few days a bit less enjoyable. Once the temperature had dropped significantly, we were able to enjoy everything and the beautiful surroundings. All in all, it was still a nice week to look back on.

Het huis is erg fijn, ruim opgezet en bijna alles wat je nodig hebt. Helaas waren we er in de tot nu toe heetste dagen van het jaar. Er zou airco zijn, maar helaas, daardoor was het bijna niet te doen in huis. Ik zou het fijn hebben gevonden als ter compensatie wat ventilatoren aanwezig zouden zijn.
Deuren open, leverden veel vliegen op in huis door de naastgelegen koeien stal. Daardoor de eerste dagen een wat minder verblijf. Nadat de temperatuur weer een stuk gezakt was konden we genieten van alles en de mooie omgeving. Al met al toch een fijne week om op terug te kijken.

This is a beautiful attractive monumental building with all the amenities. The view from the terrace is sweeping and you are treated to a beautiful sunset every evening. The owners are very friendly. Highly recommended!

Dit is een schitterend sfeervol monumentaal pand van alle gemakken voorzien. Het uitzicht vanaf het terras is wijds en je wordt elke avond getrakteerd op een mooie zonsondergang. De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk. Echt een aanrader!

Great location. You can walk straight into nature from the cottage. The area is beautiful and welcoming.

Geweldige locatie. Je kunt vanuit het huisje meteen de natuur in wandelen. De omgeving is prachtig en gastvrij.
