Nature house in Tondela

Bordering the ecopista, a bicycle path without any motorized traffic, is this nature house. Located in the middle of the wine region of the Dão, the nature house is a completely detached, rebuilt, old quinta of partly more than 100 years old, on one hectare of land, overlooking mountains and forests. Surrounded by trees and quiet and 20 kilometers from Viseu, it offers all the possibilities to be active, but also to unwind. Stores and restaurants are within five kilometers. The apartment on the ground floor has a spacious bedroom with private bathroom and a separate, large, very well-equipped kitchen/dining room on the first floor that is shared with possible other tenants, beautiful views and lots of peace. The nature house is very spacious with a sleeping area of 36 m² and has a large terrace outside where you can relax in the shade and in the evening. Because there is no fence and there are differences in height, this nature house may be less suitable for children. The apartment on the first floor, which is also for rent and can accommodate three (extra) people, can be found under house code 30167. The main house further on the property with two bedrooms, kitchen and two living/sitting rooms is also for rent and can be found under house code 30135.

For guests there is a private swimming pool (saltwater, 12 x 4 meters) with sun terrace. And there is the ecopista. Almost 49 kilometers long undisturbed cycling/walking or running path on a paved former railroad line. Largely along the river Dão, which gives not only beautiful views, but also plenty of opportunity for swimming. Banned to motorized traffic, the former railroad line between the towns of Santa Comba Dão and Viseu is now one of the longest ecopistas. Along the way, you can also have a good time at several old railway stations that serve as restaurants and cafes after renovation. The ecopista makes a perfect place to train for cycling and running or just to walk or bike and swim at a river beach. The nature house is ideally located for these activities. Within 30 car minutes is the Caramulo Mountains, where there is wonderful hiking. An hour's drive away is the core of the Serra da Estrela and also an hour's drive away is the sea. The beautiful city of Viseu and the attractive town of Caramulo are within 30 minutes by car or within two hours by bike. The village of Tondela itself is five minutes away by car.
